All monetary values are represented as a Money object: an integer cents (the amount in the currency's smallest denomination) together with a currency in ISO 4217 format. Both fields are required on every monetary value.

Monetary values sent to Onward should be in the currency of the customer as they will be used in customer-facing UI. Internally, Onward will convert to Shop Currency and USD for other purposes such as reporting and billing.
