# Currency

All endpoints receive monetary values as integers (smallest denomination, eg cents) along with a currency in ISO 4217 format. Some endpoints include multiple monetary attributes which are all assumed to be the same currency.

## Presentment Currency

Monetary values sent to Onward should be in the currency of the customer as they will be used in customer-facing UI. Internally, Onward will convert to Shop Currency and USD for other purposes such as reporting and billing.
